ECUnleashed has set it’s sights on becoming the industries leading authority in LAM (Learner Approved Motorcycle) restriction removal and performance tuning. In addition to removing the factory restrictions in the LAMS ECU, the service delivers performance tuning optimized for track enthusiast and racers alike. With a number of models already available, we are focusing our efforts toward expanding our line of available LAM models and offering every experienced rider a simple, cost effective solution in retrieving the maximum performance potential from their motorcycle. There is no question that to accomplish this will take the assistance of our international partners in the Global Tuning Network© who are located in regions that have adopted the LAM program and we look forward to working with them on this endeavor.

With a growing list of requests from partners throughout the Global Tuning Network©, ECUnleashed presents the Generation 3 Performance Flash for the 2012-13 Kawasaki ZX-14R featuring a number of updates and yes…. even more power. Updates include Smart Start Memory Mode & On The Go Traction Control, offering improved functionality & convenience, while considerable performance improvements were made by utilizing the knowledge and data acquisition gained through our in house testing, as well as through the essential collaboration with our partners within the Global Tuning Network©.

NEW Features: Improved Functionality & Convenience
Smart Start Mode Memory-
A technology first developed in 2009 for our Yamaha Line of Performance Tune Files, allowing the ECU to recall the last mode selected and continuously start in this mode until another has been selected.
On The Go Traction Control-
A feature that allows the rider to enable/disable the traction control settings while the motorcycle is in use. Along with added convenience of switching modes while riding the motorcycle, this option is a must for professional tuners who will now be able to continuously perform run after run on the dyno without being forced to scroll through the dash and disable the traction control every time the bike is shut-off.
Features such as these are becoming more and more popular throughout the motorsports industry and as they do, we will continue to expand our knowledge & technology in these areas. Suggestions & feedback are essential to us in delivering the highest quality service possible and we will do our best to review and implement them in an effective and timely manner.

Power & Performance-
Utilizing the additional knowledge and data we have acquired through our own testing, as well as in collaboration with our Global Tuning Network©, we took this opportunity continue development on the performance characteristics delivered in our previous Gen 2 Flash. This proved to be a worthwhile investment as we were able to make considerable improvements in both horsepower & low end torque in our new Gen 3 Performance Flash.

Power – The majority of improvements were made through the throttle & ignition mapping parameters. Creating & utilizing additional intake port velocity to better atomize the fuel in the lower and mid-range RPM while fine tuning the ignition parameters for a more cohesive and efficient combustion stroke at higher RPM. Through fine adjustments in these and other areas, we were able to improve power in both the low/mid-range & higher ranges of RPM.

Speed – The Top speed limiter has been lifted and rev limit increased 500 RPM in all gears, 1-6th. (Gen 2 Flash was 1-5th gears), allowing stock ZX-14R to now reach an average speed limit of 202-203 MPH simply by adding the Gen 3 Flash. All speed tests were performed on a Dynojet Dynamometer using a stock 2012 ZX-14R with stock gearing and no additional modifications other than our Performance Flash.

ECUnleashed offers an affordable and effective solution with a SHO Series Performance Reflash that delivers an impressive 260 HP on a stock boat with no additional modifications. This translates to over 10% increase in power making the ECUnleashed Reflash Service one of the most effective and reliable aftermarket modifications available for the Yamaha SHO Series Watercraft.

Although performance is our primary focus, we understand the importance in having a reliable machine able to withstand years of aggressive riding and brutal environments. As with each of our Performance Tune Files, the goal in our SHO Series Performance Reflash is to effectively test and tune each ECU mapping parameters with focus on creating a perfect balance of power, performance and reliability. The foundation of the performance reflash is based on an additional 3.0 lbs (0,2 bar) of boost delivered through the factory supercharger matched with a number of improvements made in the fuel, ignition and throttle mapping. These along with other tuning optimizations, unleash over 10% increase in power above 5000 RPM, as well as extensive improvements throughout most of the RPM. Power and agility….. the best of both worlds.

Unveiling the all new Ducati 1199 Panigale at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, it was clear that Ducati was not simply releasing a new liter bike, they were releasing one of the most advanced production superbikes in history. With unparalleled engineering and a design bordering that of perfection, the Ducati 1199 Panigale still bears one unmistakable flaw…….It’s street bike… and in a world of environmental regulations and perfectly positioned decibel meters, the chances of experiencing a truly unrestricted, track tuned version of the 1199 Panigale were highly unlikely……… until now.

There is no question that the 1199 is an outstanding motorcycle with performance capabilities that often exceed those of the rider, however, just like any other modern production sport bike, the 1199 must adhere to the specific emission and sound regulations for use on the street that inevitably translate into restrictions in the factory ECU and a reductions of power and performance. These restrictions, although important for vehicles on the road, limit racers and track enthusiast from ever experiencing and utilizing the full potential in Ducati’s initial design. The ECUnleashed Performance Reflash not only eliminates these restrictions in the factory ECU, but is specifically designed and tested to produce maximum power and improved ride-ability for track riders around the world.

Through extensive development on the dyno, each of the performance mapping parameters such as throttle, ignition and rev limit have been optimized to produce a more aggressive performance base tuning and maximum power. Along with additional track testing, considerable improvements have made in the off-throttle (deceleration) mapping parameters resulting in a smoother, more consistent and predictable motorcycle at the track.

In preparation for the 2012 race season, this pre-release program gives Honda riders the option
to have their
ECU reflashed 2-3 months before the official scheduled release in February-2012.
The pre-release Honda reflash
will require mild physical alterations to the stock ECU which must be
performed at the ECUnleashed Research &
Development facility.

Honda riders around the world will now have the opportunity to experience the full potential of their CBR.
